Membership shall terminate in any of the following cases:
1. Withdrawal
2. Death
3. Lack of or loss of legal capacity
4. If a member is late in receiving the contribution allowance.
5. Chapter
A member shall be dismissed by a decision of the Board of Directors, in accordance with the provisions of these bylaws, in any of the following cases:
1- If he or she commits an act that is likely to cause the association serious material or reputational harm.
2. If he exploits his membership in the association, whether directly or indirectly, for personal purposes or to gain personal benefit.
3. If a member violates the association’s bylaws and the violation continues despite having been notified in writing of the need to cease such violation.
(b) A member shall be dismissed by a resolution adopted by the Board of Directors by a majority vote if any of the circumstances specified in the preceding paragraph are met. If the member to be dismissed is a member of the Board of Directors, he or she shall not be entitled to attend the meeting convened for this purpose or to vote therein.
(c) A member who has been expelled has the right to appeal the expulsion decision to the competent minister within thirty days of the date on which the decision was notified to him or her; after conducting an investigation, the competent minister may take whatever action he or she deems appropriate, and his or her decision in this matter shall be final.
